DIVING
There are many dive sites located within minutes of the shore with depths ranging from 15'-95'. Dive boats cross through interspersed natural channels in the reef crest to the open water outside, where 35 plus local dive sites are located. Two tank dives generally go out each morning and each afternoon.

SNORKELING 2
Snorkeling trips by boat to the reef can be arranged, generally, there is a trip in the morning and one in the afternoon. Some of the best snorkeling spots include Hol-Chan Marine Reserve, Shark-Ray Alley and Mexico Rocks. All these locations have an abundance of marine life and gorgeous coral formations. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent. Custom and group snorkel trips can be arranged, too.

FISHING
Reef fishing, bone fishing and deep sea fishing trips are available. Excellent local guides supply tackle and bait. Inside the reef, catch snapper, triggerfish, barracuda, grouper, bonefish and many other saltwater fish.

Golf carts are available for rent by the hour, day or week. The office can arrange for the golf cart to be delivered to the hotel.Golf carts are a popular choice for getting around Ambergris Caye.

BOAT TRIPS
A number of different boats make day trips to Caye Caulker from San Pedro. Here are two popular boat trips:
RUM PUNCH II - Enjoy sailing to Caye Caulker on a 35ft single hull Belizean sailboat. The all day trip includes 2 snorkel stops, and rum punch. Lunch on your own at Caye Caulker.

MAYAN RUINS & MAINLAND TOURS
A number of day trips are available to various sites on the mainland. Please inquire at our front desk for information. Other seasonal tours may be offered during your stay. Bring your camera, walking shoes and sunscreen.
ALTUN HA RIVER TOUR
Enjoy a boat trip to the mainland and up the Bomba River to the ruin site of Altun Ha. This guided tour to Altun Ha includes information regarding ancient Mayan history, the rainforest, animals of Belize and more. You will pass through the Belizean villages of Maskall and Bomba to see native crafts and have lunch (not included) at Maruba, a jungle resort, after you have toured the ruin site. Tour departs approximately at 8:30 from the hotel dock

7am departure to the mainland by boat on an exciting opportunity to explore the rainforest of Belize while floating down a river on an inner-tube through a series of above ground caves. A stop at Belize Zoo and lunch at Jaguar Paw Jungle Resort is included.

MANATEE TOUR
About an hour boat ride from Mata Rocks you will be taken to an area frequented by manatees and dolphins near Swallow Caye. The wildlife is viewed from the boat. A full day trip, departing at 8:45am and returning at 5:30pm, includes a stop at Goff Caye for lunch, refreshments and the chance to snorkel.
