ALTUN HA RIVER TOUR
Enjoy a boat trip to the mainland and up the Bomba River past the Belizean villages of Maskall and Bomba where you’ll stop to see native crafts before continuing on to the ruin site of Altun Ha. On this guided tour you’ll learn about ancient Maya history, the rainforest, animals of Belize and more. After your tour of the site, you’ll stop for lunch (not included) at the jungle resort, Maruba, before returning to Mata Rocks. Tour departs approximately at 8:30 from the hotel dock.

CAVE TUBING
There are a lot of mysteries and legends surrounding the caves of Belize and their place in the history of the Maya. Your own adventure starts with a 7:00 am departure to the mainland by boat. Once there, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the rainforest of Belize while floating down the Caves Branch River on an inner-tube through a series of above ground caves. A stop at Belize Zoo and lunch at Jaguar Paw Jungle Resort is included.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
PARQUE NACIONAL TIKAL - GUATEMALA
Parque Nacional Tikal is located in Guatemala, just northwest of Belize. On this trip, you’ll fly from San Pedro to Flores, Guatemala then transfer to a van for the 40-minute drive to the ruin site. Once in Tikal, a trained Guatemalan tour guide will walk you through the ruins explaining the Mayan culture, and providing information about the rainforest while chattering spider and howler monkeys and squawking toucans and parrots provide an unforgettable soundtrack.
The tour departs San Pedro at 7:00 am and returns at about 5:30 pm. Tour includes roundtrip airfare, transfers, park fees, museum fees, guide and lunch.
